Product Engineer (Regional tribe)

Due to our growth ambitions, we are seeking a talented Product Engineer for our Regional tribe in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Poland.

In this role, you’ll be developing, maintaining, and enhancing our current backend and frontend systems, focusing on robustness and extensibility, and spearheading the ongoing transition to microservices. You will use automated testing to ensure code quality as well as prevent regressions and you will use code reviews to ensure maintainability, and that best practices are upheld. Finally, you’ll be collaborating with other cross-functional teams on company-wide initiatives.

In order to be successful in the role, you bring ideally the following skills with you:

• 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java
• Experience with Vue or another JS framework
• Experience with SQL for your daily work
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills in English and collaboration abilities.

We do understand that nobody is perfect, but some bonus points if you have:

• Experience with, or willingness and capacity to learn, Ruby and Rails, to better enable breaking up the monolith
