The Role

Our Technology team is growing! We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front End Engineer to join our team.

In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising the user interface of web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks. You will collaborate closely with design and back-end teams to ensure seamless integration and create responsive, high-performance web applications.

This role is ideal for an experienced front-end developer who can lead projects, solve complex challenges, and contribute to the overall user experience. You’ll be expected to maintain high code quality standards, mentor junior developers, and stay up-to-date with emerging trends in front-end development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive, dynamic, and engaging web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into high-quality, scalable, and efficient code.
• Optimise web pages for performance, ensuring fast load times, smooth interactions, and accessibility across all platforms.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure consistency and adherence to coding standards.
• Implement automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure the reliability and stability of the front-end codebase.

About You:

• Deep knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and hands-on experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as Next.js, React, or Vue.js.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design, with experience in CSS preprocessors (Sass, LESS) and CSS-in-JS solutions.

• Experience with front-end testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.

• Expertise in optimising web performance, including lazy loading, bundling, minification, and responsive image handling.

• Knowledge of CMS would be advantageous.

• Have excellent written and verbal English skills
