Who are you?

We’re looking for strong mid level Fullstack Developer (.NET C#) to join our growing team.

You’ll be a key contributor, actively helping to deliver new functionality for our products as well as looking for ways to continuously improve our tech stack. You’ll be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

What would I be doing day to day?

One of the great things about working here is that every day is different and there is always an opportunity to get involved in something outside of your ‘BAU’ and learn something new.

In this role you will interact fully with every part of the business, especially as we grow. Meet Sam, one of the Engineers you'll be working very closely with -

" Hi, I’m Sam! I joined DrDoctor as a Junior Full-Stack Developer back in 2021 and over the past 4 years I have had loads of amazing experiences developing many different products that are used by patients and NHS staff members. This includes working on projects such as:

  • Creating a two-way messaging product enabling patients to chat with NHS staff

  • Creating a video product that allows users to create virtual appointments enabling remote appointments

  • Developing pages that integrate directly with the NHS App

The great thing about working here is the opportunities you are presented with and the freedom you are given to focus your growth. You will be genuinely supported in your professional development and pushed to grow.

OK, I’m interested. What experience do I need to have?

Must haves:

  • c.3years' commercial .NET C# development experience

  • Front-end development (preferably Vue.js experience)

  • Cloud platform experience

  • Automated testing and CI/CD practises

  • Working knowledge of the different types of testing (unit, integrations, e2e, system, etc)

  • Working knowledge of SQL (we don’t need you to be a DBA)

Nice to haves:

  • Distributed systems and APIs

  • Azure cloud platform experience (for example app services, azure functions, azure service bus, event hubs)

  • Domain Driven Design

  • Experience working in an agile environment

  • Infrastructure as code (for example Terraform/ARM/Bicep/Ansible)

  • GitHub profile, blog posts, contributions to opensource projects

Just to let you know too, we will need you to have the full Right To Work in the UK, and as we work closely with the NHS, if we get to offer stage we will also need to undertake a DBS check.

Salary banding for this role is: £53k-£73k
